Introduction of the Scholarship & Exhibition Commons of SUFE

The Scholarship & Exhibition Commons of SUFE is a new area integrating display, discussion, training, experience, learning, research and other functions, located on the 6^th floor of the Yingxian library, Wuchuan Road Campus, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, with the total construction area about 800 square meters. The Space is used to be special collection of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of SUFE, and was completed and put into use in November 2019.

The construction of the Space is based on the new concept of five centers for the public academic service institution , including collection and service of academic literature, research and service of academic literature, education and development of information literacy, inheritance and development of excellent culture, and integration and application of academic data, which is a new attempt and exploration of library business and space reconstruction.

The Space showcases SUFE’s academic achievements, precious resources and outstanding people. There are 9 relatively independent and interrelated areas, namely, the foreword hall, the public hall, the academic overview exhibition area, the fine works exhibition area, the collected literatures exhibition area, the elites exhibition area, the Village Survey exhibition area, the Fortune Global 500 Enterprises exhibition area and the financial information analysis room.

With the Village Survey and Fortune Global 500 Enterprises exhibition as the highlights, taking the new layout, new technology and new equipment as the carrier,the space adopts the collaborative mechanism connecting resources and requirements, the sharing and communication mode of online and offline, Interdisciplinary collaborative approach combining teaching, learning and research, experience form integrating the simple design with high-tech, to provide diversified services for cultivating outstanding financial and economic talents adhering to the idea think internationally based on China’s reality with patriotism and global vision.
